The eleven countries of SE Asia have a combined population of more than 600 million, nearly double the population of the US and much greater than all 27 EU countries collectively. These are some of the fastest growing economies in the world and have a population with median age in the early 20s.
Thanks to the churches and missions active here the rates of conversion to Christianity are among the highest worldwide. Our role is to assist and encourage them through the provision of resources, support and our fervent prayers.
Our Passion and Purpose for this region:
- To increase our understanding of, and love for, the people and for the missions of SE Asia
- To minister to the Unreached and Underserved People Groups of Southeast Asia
- To create awareness and communicate the needs of SE Asia missions to other churches in our communities, and to enlist their support for these endeavors.
- To grow ongoing relationships with the leaders and team members of mission outreach initiatives throughout SE Asia, beginning in Malaysia and Indonesia
- To organize and facilitate mission projects and group travel to support and expand this work
- To encourage and facilitate family-oriented mission participation
- To realize our purpose and role in the fulfillment of THE GREAT COMMISSION
